Worrying About Money Won’t Make You More

“Worrying about money won’t make you more”. I read this short sentence on Twitter last week.
These words made me stop scrolling. I just kept reading them again and again thinking about the truth behind these wise words.
We’re always worried about the lack of money. Most of our goals in life are centered around making money and buying the most expensive cars and watches.
We spend our lives chasing money hoping one day we can just sit down and enjoy our last days without worrying about running out of money.
Some people will sacrifice their health to make money. Then, they will spend all that money in hospitals to get their health back (and they won’t).
H. Ross Perot said:
“So many people spend their lives chasing money and end up as the richest men in the cemetery. I don’t want to be like that.”
I’m writing this article to myself because I know I need this advice. The rest of the article is a conversation between me and myself.
Stop worrying about money and enjoy your life as it’s.
If you’re not happy with what you have today, you won’t be happy with what you will have tomorrow.
When was the last time you slept hungry at night because you don’t have enough money to buy food?
Never. In your 25 years on this earth, this never happened to you.
So why are you worried?
“I don’t know”, I said to myself.
If someone told you that he will give you $1 billion, but you have to give him your health. Will you agree?
“No”.
If they told you they will give you $1 billion, but they will take your family from you. Will you agree?
“No”.
You’re willing to sacrifice money for health and family, but not the opposite. Then why are you ignoring the most important things in life for money?
I’m not saying you shouldn’t work for money. But don’t lose the most important things in life for something less important.
Don’t lose your health, family, friends, and your loved ones.
Don’t lose yourself for money.
I hope you understand this advice before it’s too late.
